conan was a great one time help. he earned his money, I think i need more of a structured presentation, I am in europe until the 5th, unlikely to make it back in time. I look forward to seeing you next time Im in cambridge. . . what days is he in new york?

Can you do it ? You can learn first hand on what may happen .

As for Conan , he like to meet you and depends on your time. He left his position in HK for nine months , expecting to help you . But is surprised that you only see him one time . I believe that he is not paid by his university on this part.

as you recall . I said we would try a test run and then make a decision . I wanted to learn chinese culture.
He came and said what questions do you have. I asked some questions . not knowing the field at all, made my questions fairly trivial. He is educated , very nice, but has no experience teaching the subject I hoped to learn , thank you
