The best baguettes are at one of these two places:
Dominique Saibron, 77 avenue du Général Leclerc 75014 Paris
Le Grenier a pain, 38 Rue des Abbesses, 75018 Paris, France
In general baguettes in Paris come in a cheap version (normale, or ordinaire) which is like Euro 1.50 and a more expensive one that is like Euro 2.50. Get the more expensive one!
The two other great breads in Paris are not baguettes:
Du pain et des Idées, 34, rue Yves Toudic, 75010 - get the bread called “pain de amis”
Franck Debieu, Etoile du Berger, 6, rue du Docteur Berger — 92330 Sceaux - all of his bread is good, including his baguette, but he is most proud of the bread he calls "sant pierre" or something like that.
