You are a fascinating person, Jeffrey. But, yo= know that...
Thank you for taking the time today. I am reas=nably certain I would be additive to your various conversations in the Gut=, bringing a distinctly different yet complementary perspective. It would =e fun and effective.
Several of your comments made me think of a long ago=friend, the writer David Foster Wallace. David used to talk about th= "truth" the way you talk about having fun. He had an ex=eptional mind—seven plus standard deviations away from the mean that you seem to enjoy. I leave you below with one of David=#8217;s better known quotes to juxtapose with our earlier discussions.
I wish you the best and, again, thank you,
Jide
"The really important kind o= freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, an= being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, ov=r and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day. ... The only thing that's capital-T True is that you ge= to decide how you're going to try to see it. You get to consciously decid= what has meaning and what doesn't. ... The trick is keeping the truth u=-front in daily consciousness."
