every few years a scientist comes out and says we know all we ca= know about X . it is always seen in h=ndsight as silly . at best
Einstein, and his buddies , thought that biology was too hard t= study, and after hundreds of years .and the smartest mathemat=cians , scientists in the world trying- mother nature h=s not let scientists look up her skirt.
I want you to think about distributions rather than individuals. = probability distributions rather than a sin=le point on the curve. ( a bell curve if you prefer )
knowing that the average height of men is 5 foot 8 . and taking=a large population. when you ask me a questi=n re the height of deepak. I can tell you, hes les= than 9 feet tall and larger than two feet tall. = Thats it. no other reality , though hundreds exist in our survey. we can say noth=ng about deepak
when studing pressure in a cylinder , mathematics and physics&=bsp; allows us to sum over all the molecules. it says NOTHING =about any one molecule. within bounds. of course. ie we know=it is not perfectly still
If you postulate that knowing a person is like trying to study a mole=ule . maybe the only thing we can say , is that given 1=00 people. some will be happy , some will be sad. = and which one is unknowable. ( like the molecule ). &nb=p; and by making one idividual happier , to keep the distribution the same natu=e makes someone else unhappy. . thats the way it works=with money, height„ the number of people killed on the roads eac= year. constant at around 50k peoplel but says nothing about which one will be killed.
not at all. the "probablity" of you emailing me =t the moment would have been calculated to be infinsitmesmal o=ly one year ago. probablity is only va=id when events are independent and happen more than once. ,&nb=p; more than once. otherwise. the mathematics are meanilngless. it has gotten into the=popular vernacular.
the future is : unknown within bounds. . if i say you can=turn left or right. when you do the future becomes=the past , ie two universes that exist in the futu=e collapse into one .
