lawrence. . if there was something no physical that traveled faster than light. how would one build a detector for it.

I am being sincere when I say that I think you have simply proven what Locke or Hume or one of those guys said : reason is the slave of passion.

dont be so limited. if living things have a faster than light component , it would would explain the inability to find it . detect it . etc.

Why should the laws of physics change for living things. They are just chemistry. And chemistry doesn't affect physics.

I really want being facetious. I think we make actions that we think are thought out but only after the fact can we detach ourselves sufficiently to think rationally about it.

they are not just chemistry, . thats the point, the chemistry dictates the animal portion. if it were just chemistry , the solution would be easy for the simplest of living organizsm < BUT they are not. not at all. something else might be playing a role. . open your mind. . deception is part of living systems. so is intent. they are not physical parameters.

jeffrey.. the physical laws governing space and time are determined at a scale far different than the scale that governs biological systems.. the propagation of elementary particles and signals is determined at subatomic scales.. far below the scales of distance, and far higher in scales of energy than are accessible in biological systems..
