I received an email from Dr. Bivins stating that I could contact you at this email address with regards to spending some time in your lab or clinic this summer. When I went to him to tell him what I was interested in I was so pumped to hear about your work and also to hear that it IS possible to incorporate my passion for music into medicine! I didn't know if you had any open slots in terms of being able to spend some time working with you or what your schedule was this summer, but I wanted you to know that I'm VERY interested in all of the work you guys are doing and would love to help out. Hi Chris - hanks for your email - Looking forward to meeting you here in Boston. Our summer interns are starting June 1-8. Housing help may be available via Harvard, Harvard Med, Boston Univ, MIT, Northeastern Student Affairs offices - likely to be many sublets available as many ooff-campus students vacate for the summer. Can also check on-lone at and other resources for rentals. Ideally, you would be with us 40-50 hrs/wk for 10-12 weeks. There are more projects to do than I have time to tell you - clinical research and library/writing/publishing in one of multiple topics for each student. Please let me know if/when you might arrive.
