Sorry this took so long. Between the road flooding and I was running the store for 7 days while my partner was on vacation, could not make it to the farm before dark to get pictures. Still working on some numbers for the nursery idea. Best regards. Mat

I would say that your best bet for that area is going to be the coconut palms because of their salt tolerance. That is such a salty and windy point that you will be somewhat limited to what will grow well. There are many salt tolerant materials that will still work though.

what about around the fire pit area and at the second flag pole house

I learned a good lesson with that area this winter. The cold fronts have been very strong in the past couple of years and what I thought might do well did not. Those two areas are much windier than I anticipated, so I would probably use the coconut there as well. The Panama Hat palms will take wind and salt but I would use them in a more protected area like the roadway to the #1 flagpole from the main house

what about sea grapes and such by the second flagpole house

Sea grape, cocoplum, salt ceadar, green buttonwood, plumbago arc all great plant materials for that area. It would also be possible to grow bougainvillea and other materials as long as they were protected from the salt spray
