re send it„ as i recall you were describing a smart person , but not necessarily a leader„ in fact smart might preclude being a leader. , forced interaction with the large numbers of goofballs. is a coach a good leader, instilling team spirit, etc.. BORING „ probably leaders are genetically pre conditioned to motivate others. great leaders --hider? baby doe.., michael jackson, billy graham, colin powell, reagan, opinion shapers.
well I was discussing being smart; that was the point of the exercise really; this is supposed to help find AI after all

the armyis not intersted in smart, they are intersted in leaders, strategists, i want you to get your funding„ so i would ask more questions of them first..
the idea is to talk about leaders while actually talking about AI; I dont much see the difference anyhow and and can go with the metaphor; I go up there in 2 weeks to giver a talk to them about Al (ARPA) -- anyone I should meet in DC while there?
