OK , maybe i didn't explain well the difference between actual ovulation and a positive ovulation LH surge test. I have been referring to the positive LH test as ovulation but it is more accurately just an Indication that ovulation is about to occur.
"Ovulation tests detect LH surge, allowing you to accurately predict when you will ovulate. A positive result on an ovulation test means that the woman will most likely become fertile over the next three days - with peak fertility at 36 hours following the LH surge."
"Generally, ovulation will take place 12-48 hours after the LH surge is first detected (using afternoon urine samples), though 36 hours is considered to be the average length of time following the LH surge."
The moment of ovulation the egg is released. You need to have sex on the days preceding ovulation = when you
detect LH surge.
("Start having sex every day for 3 days straight once the LH surge is detected.")
