RE: 4 Page Mock up pictures of proposed arm rest
Dear Jeffrey,
Please open up the attached pdf file and review — Page down to scroll through the four (4) pages of photos).
Please do not draw to many quick conclusions as I believe it is best we discuss what you are looking at specifically.
The slide out arm rest will be quite sturdy and track smoothly on the two slides as it travels fwd to the locking position, exposing the storage tray.
Obviously we will finish the arm rest with foam and material (fabric and/or leather). We will also elevate the aft section to be at the same elevation height as the sliding arm rest piece so that we achieve a finished, detailed appearance.
Also, as discussed during our visit, the foam back cushion will meet adjacent to each side of the 10.5"+- arm rest (and not be spaced away as depicted in the photo's) creating a clean, finished appearance.

Can you call me to discuss?

thats why it doesn't work
Jeffrey,
Are you freakin kidding me? Give me a break!
Meanwhile as you Google yourself into a tizzy, I am waiting in line to pick up my daughter from Hebrew school and got out of the driver's seat to sit in the back of my car to futz around with the flip down arm rest — I must have looked like a real putz because I got this real funny look from another parent in the car behind me.
Don't worry, I am not done with this arm rest yet — I had another call with the divan frame manufacturer about the pivot point bracket position.
On another note, you should be happy to hear that I was on a conference call with Chris Shurkus and Steve the vibration / acoustical engineer from Sikorsky for a lengthy conversation about the vibration radiant you are feeling from the backrest.
I am setting up an actual test for possibly Friday or Saturday whereby Chris Shurkus will get us a helicopter to use with different densities of the vibration dampening foam that I am having Fed Ex'd to me on Thursday. We are going to fly for about an hour applying various densities of materials to the seating and measure their vibration with some sort of accelerometer gizmo that will measure vibration.
Needless to say, I am busy busting my ass to make sure that you are happy.
Oh ya; did I mention that I left a message at 7:45 tonight for the company that manufactures the gel seating as well as the company that manufactures an aviation iso-dampener material which may be a possible application for your back and tuchas cushions?
Hope you appreciate my late night sarcasm and effort.
Have a good evening and don't worry — I am all over it in the 9th inning.
Sincerely,
