Dear SALSS Family,

The celebration of SALSS 5 exceeded everybodys expectation and I am personally very touched by the appraisal and the beautiful thank-you letters I have received from so many of our distinguished guests.

We are glad to report that the media coverage of SALSS, particularly in the US. has been immense. Over 160 media reports were noticed including many prestigious media channels.

I am still in Stockholm this week if anybody wants to contact me here but I will be going back to NYC on September 14.

The idea of hosting a SALSS USA in Washington DC sometime next year has been met with great enthusiasm particularly among Swedish attendees and we will definitely explore this option with our good contacts down there. I will let you know.

Again, thank you for making this years SALSS so special! I hope to be in touch with most of you in the near future.

Many want us to do SALSS USA in Washington D.C. with your old pal Summers as keynote and the new FDA Director Margret Hamburg and my relative. Swedish Ambassador Jonas Hafstrom etc ...we'll see, I am exhausted after workong all summer..- Diana DeGette is just wonderful and she likes to come to FEOY/BBB 10 year celebration Gala in Stockholm next year I Like you!! Anna Levander, you may recall FEOY 2001, gave a terrific speech for her at a dinner we had and she loved the BBB concept in general....like you do! / Miss you here in NYC, but glad you are out and in your home down there!
