I wish words could express my gratitude feeling to you , which is rather difficult, yet, will try to let you know my unfortunate„ threatened, miserable days i had versus my lucky happy days am having now & that is because of you, who really did rescue me & all other IRS Scholars.

It is really not just a feelings of happiness but rather feeling of living again in a rather secure, healthy,& scientific environment which unfortunately we missed .

Dear Henry,

The below is a message to you from Dr. Khalida. You might remember that she attended the gala and the SRF/Columbia U event last year at this time. Dr. Khalida was in the states for her first year of fellowship (University of South Carolina School of Medicine), has returned to the region for her renewal, and just started at the King Hussein Cancer Center thanks to the assistance of Princess Ghida. Dr. Khalida could have stayed in the states (she has a daughter here) and had a US University placement, but she really wanted to return to the region and provide her knowledge and services to those close to Iraq.
