Lord Mandelson's office has just confined that they can make some space to meet with Sultan Sulayem on Wednesday 16th September at 4pm for 45 minutes at Cabinet Office. I have asked them to hold this - please confinn asap that this is okay. We can then confirm arrangements. Unfortunately Lord Davies will be in India on Government business.

As per your request, I have a slot for Sultan with Lord Mandelsson as per the note below, Wednesday 16th at 4 pm for 45 minutes. You will note that Mervyn Davies cannot make it. I know that you will not now be in London around that time. If required, 1 can of course be available to brief/ support Sultan for the meeting with Mandelsson.
