Many thanks for your follow up emails with regard to my meeting and discussions with the Duchess of York.

I very much enjoyed meeting with her and have been giving some thought to possible opportunities for Cunard Line to work with her in the future.

As of yet, we have not come up with any specific opportunities. As you may know we have a wonderful "Insight Programme" on both Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria where speakers join us during voyages to share their learnings with our guests. We would be delighted for the Duchess to take part in one of those. However I think the challeng is that our modus operandi is that we provide the stateroom and any travel arrangements, however we do not provide any form of fee for our Insight Speakers.

As I mentioned when meeting with the Duchess if we were able to find a third party brand who were keen to promote their brand in association with the Duchess of York, or indeed to promote opportunities with some of the very successful Duchess of York's charitable and other activities then that would be a great opportunity as they could provide the necessary funding.

The trick of course in the current market place is finding such a third party benefactor.

However I have discussed with both my colleagues here in the UK and in the US and have also mentioned to some of our sister cruise lines.

Therefore please assure the Duchess of York that I will continue to search for opportunities and likewise if anything should come up from your side, then we would be delighted to discuss it.

I hope that answers where we are up to at the moment - certainly not out of mind and hopefully a joint opportunity will surface at some point in the near future.

F. stated Cunard Line wants her to travel on their cruises, using this as endorsement and paying her US$ 250k per trip, 4 trips/year = lm. The Cunard President says something totally different as below.
