So let me tell ya... I am happy you never invested in massage therapy school for me, because I am a cripple now. I re-injured both my wrists at work a couple weeks ago, been to the doctor, been for x-rays and last night had a traumatizing MRI experience. I'll know by Monday what the real issue is, I hope.... I am in so much pain, it hurts to do everything.... But I am happy that you decided against MT school because I think in the long run it would have been really bad for my wrists...

If I wind up needing surgery, do you know any great docs? I'm so scared and sad... You don't realize how much you need and use your hands until you're injured like this.

How am I ever to keep a man now, ;-P

How are ya? I feel like I haven't seen you in forever...

So, I went to doc today to get my MRI results...

My right wrist has a torn ligament... My left wrist is swollen and inflamed but no sign of a tear...

He has recommended Occupational Therapy, along with anti-inflammatory medication called Naproxen. I am also getting fitted for a resting splint for nighttime... He said.... if OT doesn't help in 4 weeks, he'll consider surgery.

I am also getting an MRI on my hip... He thinks I have a tear... might need surgery...

What do ya think Dr. Ep? Besides the fact the I am falling apart.... :-(
I was so scared to go to the office today because it hurts so bad and my job is so strenuous. At least I start therapy tomorrow am.

did you fall? gymnastics? naughties'?

I broke both my wrist when I was a gymnast about 18+ years ago... but I am not sure if this is a recent tear from a work incident, wouldn't I have felt the pain if it was torn all along? He said my wrists are just really weak and that is why my left wrist is all inflamed and irritated.

My hip is from my recent roller blading fall... but he also said it has to do with gymnastics....

I was fitted for a splint today... and OT is recommending some Hand/Wrist Surgeons... Going to get surgeons opinion. Know any great hand/wrist surgeons? Or can you recommend any good hospitals or doctors?
