Attached a note sent to GB today about an excellent new book on how Israel created its economy around high tech and science «business note 21.1.10.doc» . Lots of differences between the two countries of course but some good lessons for the UK on innovation and incentives for investment around technology and the universities.
This came up in the meeting today with David Sainsbury and Paul Drayson.
The book - Start Up Nation by Dan Senor is available in the UK and worth skimming.
