I know how busy you are but hope you can take a few minutes to read the below from very dear friends of mine.

The diagnosis of Macrophage Activation Syndrome (MAS) is a relatively rare one (as a result of complications from either his Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) and/or his Mono/EBV) there are few doctors, including the ones who are treating him, who have had much experience with MAS.

Therefore, we are looking for doctor recommendations (anywhere) that may have dealt with the treatment of MAS or something similar that we could possibly have review his labs, current trends, and possibly provide a second opinion on a course of treatment.

Please reach out to doctors you know, trust, and may be willing to recommend someone they believe has had some experience with this rare condition.
