RE: Cool science
Adam Maloof at Princeton is studying magnetic pole shifting of earth. Its pretty interesting to understand how this relates to current changes. He's asking how long these shifts take (usually a million years plus). He theorizes that if these are happening more rapidly that could account for catastrophic changes.
Some cool and spooky links w mayan calendar etc but this guys stuff seems legit.
I am always skeptical when religious mambo jumbo shows up....or should we all be scared of 2012 ;)
B
He's not pushing Mayan stuff. I'm just adding my own editorial!
You guys both know how much I love conspiracy theories!!
Although:
"Why blame conspiracy when incompetence is usually the reality"
The idea of magnetic pole shifting is very interesting. It is something that can be (has been proven). Even the smallest shift puts earth's climate at risk of major and measureable change. It is curious since it is something we can actually prove, see and measure. Plus I love anything magnetic.
