Fw: Little Saint James - Weekend of the 8th of January

Hi Cecile,

It was good to speak with you and we are all very excited to participate in Jeffs get together on his Little Saint James. It is my understanding that we will not be staying on the island, but at the Ritz, although we will be meeting on the island. The dates that Jeffrey has in mind are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, which are the 8th, 9th, and 10th respectively, and with guests arriving on the 7th and leaving on the 11th. You will help arrange activities for the spouses/partners. There may be some guests who wish to stay additional days, on either end, but those additional lodging/food days will be at their own expense.

Jeff will pay for the travel, lodging, and food for the primary guests. Please talk to Jeff about how he wants to arrange wives/significant others, as I don't want to make any assumptions. Everyone is clear that the spouses/significant others can't join the meetings, but may roam the island and join us for dinner.

The confirmed guest list is below (only Nathan Mhyrvold is not definitely confirmed, but is trying hard to come, and he is a stellar guest, so we want to accommodate him in any way). The contact list is as follows (in some cases, I have used two emails, and so use both, as one may be their partner or coordinator):

Good afternoon Jeffrey,

I spoke to Al Seckel today to set up the meeting for January. I know that you are not interested spouses but I want to find out if you are willing to pay for one 1st class ticket or two coach tickets?

Also, I will try to get rooms at the Ritz unless you prefer the Westin. Let me know.
