Christof and I will go down to the Caltech register's office and straighten this out. It is not right, and I did go through a process, where I was approved by the faculty, before I got that position. I had my own Caltech lab office (two, one in Shin Shimojo's and one in Christofs lab), email account, access to faculty club, collaborated with post-docs, and my official Caltech ID. and gave talks. I was listed on their web pages as doing research there. I am no longer at Caltech. That certifies as a "truism" that I am no longer at Caltech.

This is not applicable for janitors. I was doing active research there. I didn't just hang by the water fountain, people were very interested in the work that I was doing, and I gave invited talks all over the world, as many of the most prestigious universities, and this includes technical talks.

McIver was the one, along with his cohorts, who put statements and words into my mouth (as a "straw man") tactic to damage me at Caltech and others, saying things that I never said. They guy lived in Ohio, was never able to prove all this stuff, and in fact, it was disproven through tapes of talks that I gave that came out in the discovery process. He managed to circulate this stuff very widely through literally thousands and thousands of emails, letters, web postings, and the like. It caused enormous damage. Yet, I won in a Court of Law. He was not able to prove the things he claimed, I was able to prove otherwise, I showed that he forged documents in not only my name, but in the name of my colleagues, etc. It was egregious. He set me up on fake internet dates, he got people to get into my house, he got people to state things that were false, all to build stuff. He edited my wikipedia.

He got the register's office pissed off, Caltech pissed off, colleagues pissed off, but in the end, none of it was true what he said. And, I could prove it with the massive amount of sworn depositions, actual records, etc. That's why it was slammed down so hard on him.

Those records were sealed. I don't know how anyone could have gotten access to them, and I am contacting my attorney first thing on Monday, as that is a very serious legal breach.

I don't know what the bug is with Kosslyn. Christof and I have the correspondence with him. The correspondence doesn't lie. I can't help it if he can't remember. Just makes him the one with the memory problem. Too bad, as I would have liked to talk to him about this patient, as he had just written a book on spatial imagery.

I don't like it when people say I fabulate or concoct when I don't because they don't have the proper context or an improper context. To give in, is to say they are right.
