Nathan Wolfe news
from the Skoll Foundation newsletter today:
Nathan Wolfe - TED, Skoll World Forum & Rolling Stone
Nathan Wolfe, who runs the Global Viral Forecasting Initiative and is a recent Skoll grantee, gave a talk at TED recently which is now up online. It gives a great overview of Nathan's work to understand how viruses make the jump from animal to human so we can stop them before they become pandemics. Rolling Stone also listed Nathan in its top 100 "agents of change". Nathan participated in the Skoll World Forum on a panel, moderated by Larry Brilliant, with Paul Farmer of Partners in Health, Ban Weetjens of Apopo and Gene Falk of mothers2mothers. You can watch that on the Skoll World Forum site.
