pb: yes, axel is great.. he should meet with martin novak, from harvard... attacking infectious disesase through game and evolutionary theory,, why stop one disease, if you can find the algorithm to fight them all.

bill is going to nyc in november for a few meetings i think one of them will involve him meeting with richard axel - i am sure they have met before just fyi if you think there's anyone he should meet (for funding or other informational purposes) let me know?

why don't we make a vaccine against "virus" instead of one that does all the specifics? so what if it kills the good ones too. humans are good at adapting. we keep looking for smaller and more esoteric things so that people can get funding for the labs and PhDs. i think we need to start going the opposite direction and looking bigger and more general.
