Seriously the most of the physicists in Paris are rather mathematical though there is a bit of interesting cosmo.

I actually think one of the most interesting things in Paris is IRCAM, where we did our "projective opera." You mnight hate the music but they are thinking very creatively about how to use electronics to change the way music is presented.
