mairo commissioned Karen Chekerdjian to recreate celebrated TOTE—part of the permanent collection at Le Musee Des Art Decoratif in Paris. The exclusive marble edition will be introduced in three different versions combining Nero Marquinia, Verde Imperiale, Rosso Levanto, and Nero Portoro.

A Temple of Divine Design from Wallpaper'
WallpaperHandmade commissioned Karen Chekerdjian to design a unique object inspired by theme, "Religion and Rituals". Karen's new piece, made in collaboration with Gradinetti—one of the most prestigious terrazzo producers in the world—will be unveiled during the highly anticipated Wallpaper exhibition.

DILMOS Gallery "A Matter of Choice"
Dilmos invited Karen Chekerdjian to take part in collective show, "A Matter of Choice", which initiates poetic conversation by bringing together diverse authors, materials and methods. Karen will exhibit three different color variants of TOTEM in ceramic.

Within the context of the twentieth edition of SaloneSatellite, "20 Years of New Creativity" will showcase designer prototypes that were produced and marketed by prestigious, large-scale companies and key manufacturers. The curator selected one of Karen's first works, "Coffee For Two", to be exhibited.

Twenty years of SaloneSatellite will be celebrated in "20 Years Collection"—a special edition exhibition of bespoke works designed by renowned international designers whose careers took-off at SaloneSatellite. Karen will unveil TOTEM in marble, made in collaboration with Mmair.
