The other day, Chapin, the all girl school that educated, , asked her to speak to the sixth graders about physics. The girls showed up, as did most of the faculty, and some of the administrators.

Chapin asked her to speak because she will be the first girl from Chapin to receive an advanced degree in physics. She is breaking new ground.

I write this note in part because I received letters from most of the sixth graders that heard her speak, and they talked about the impact of her words. The head of Chapin's lower school also wrote a very touching letter.

But more importantly, I write this because: and I know what you did to allow her to follow her dreams.
