Hi, just so you are in the loop because I am thinking Leon may call you on the subject.
Ada called me after her meeting with Leon. Sounds like it went well, I have not heard from him on the subject yet.
She is still a member of the Bar-never gave it up.
Sounds like they had a frank discussion re comp and a job description that encompasses 'whatever needs to get done' as the family lawyer.
She will be fine with a base and no regular bonus as long as the base is good.
She believes we don't have to worry about issue of privilege for me-within a formal Leon Black family office structure I would be considered an 'employee essential to the dealing'
She would be due a bonus Feb 15th. Assuming we hammer out a contract between now and year end and if Leon is willing to buy her out of that bonus, she would give notice shortly after returning from the vacation she is now on through year end.
