Happy Wednesday! Hope you're doing great! Just wanted to share some news that I was invited to perform at the Bergen International Festival in Norway on June 1. Lang Lang had to cancel his concert, so they refunded the tickets and asked me to give a concert at the same time/place (at the Grieg Concert Hall). Just returned last week from a last-second concert with the San Luis Obispo Symphony in California. I got a call last Thursday, saying that there was a cancellation and asking if I could play the Gershwin Concerto in ...with the rehearsal in about 24 hours! I was on a plane early the next morning, and the concert was great!
