The rug just needs to be opened and spread out on the floor and the smell will go away. The "stink" is just a new rug smell which will dissipate over a very short period of time. Please let me know if this odor persists after the rug is opened for a few days. The rug is freshly woven and needs to be aired out. Thank you.
