You have to read this. My 74 year old mother is almost on the Syrian border in Turkey and is writing to me about cats - "In Van today!! Not any different from other days. So dont worry. It has actually been another fantastic day. Being at around 2000m most of the time now makes the weather more bearable. At the university here they are studying and breeding cats with a special gene. One blue and one green eye. The Van cat. Saw a photo. They are white and fluffy. XXX"
