An Origins Project Panel: Einstein's Legacy, Celebrating 100 Years of General Relativity
100 years ago today, Albert Einstein forever changed our view of the space, time, and the cosmos. Join some of the world's top experts for the culmination of a year long centenary celebration of Albert Einstein's developments of the theory of general relativity. Einstein himself would be amazed at what has transpired over the last century, from Black holes to an accelerating universe! The panel discussion will feature Nobel Laureates, scientists, and historians in conversation with Origins Project director Lawrence Krauss. Gain new insights into Einstein and his most famous work, exciting developments in physics, and what we can expect in the next 100 years from this groundbreaking theory. Tickets available now!
Awards + Scholarships
Undergraduate Research Scholarship Winners
The Origins Project is proud to announce the winners of the 2015 Undergraduate Research Scholarship. Congratulations to Michael Busch, Alexi Choueiri, Aditya Dhumuntarao, Alexandra Norwood, and Nitish Peela. These scholarship funds for joint research projects between ASU undergraduates and their faculty mentors consist of a $5,000 research fund for both the student and their mentor, for a total of $10,000 awarded per project.
