Marcia is a sad case. She asked me for money last year and I refused. Steven has given her money the past few years and has stopped. Any more money (which she will never be able to repay) is just going to briefly postpone the inevitable. She will not face reality if she keeps getting these 'loans' and will not deal with her real issues. This is also damaging her kid, who is already damaged. She should have put the kid in foster care, and stayed close to her, while getting her own life together. That is still her best option but she won't do it. She is living in la la land. Giving her money is enabling her lunacy. I was close to Marcia for many years and am sorry that she has come to this and sorry that not helping her is the best option for her.

Her friend (Dotty Goldstein's daughter) invited Marcia and to come and live with them in FL so that Marcia can get her act together. That would also be a smart option, but Marcia is not taking her up on that. This is why Steven has given up too. Steven has been talking to me about this for years.

I forgot if I mentioned it but Larry became a grandfather. His daughter had twin boys. I don't think she named either of them Jerome.
