Left you a message on cell. Everything is great. We spent 8 hours in the bush today -- hot, dirty, lots of flies, but beautiful. We have seen amazing animals. There are hippos right next to the camp, and you can hear them snorting and carrying on all night. The white South African guy on the staff said that there have been 4 "hippo accidents" in the last month, meaning that hippos attacked and killed African fisherman in each of those incidents. Saw three dead elephants that had been poached today. Horrific. We need to figure out a way to solve the problem of Chinese demand for ivory. It was haunting.
