Unfortunately I won't be in NY this time because the new president has gained enough confidence to go there this time.

Do you know anyone who might want to partner with me in a yacht charter business in Maldives? Let me know if you think of something.

The idea is to partner with someone who will provide the boats and we manage them here in Maldives. We will package the charter along with the island that we have so that guests have access to the beach and the house reef.

Currently boats with two or three cabins can be chartered for between 6000 - 10,000 dollars a week depending on the quality of the boat. I am currently considering getting a Lagoon Catamaran and a luxury sports fishing boat. Each will cost about 600,000 each.

I am also looking at a floating hotel of about 100 rooms. We can sell it for 300 per pax per day. We will manage the boat and share the profits.

I have to build more facilities like restaurant etc on the island so I will invest in the infrastructure. My assumption is that a person with personal yachts may be willing to keep them in Maldives for personal use and charter.
