In the 2016 Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings released earlier this week, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem ranks #17 in Asia. Hebrew University moved up eight spots from #25 last year to #17 this year. Hebrew University is also the highest-rated Israeli university in the new Asia University Rankings.
These are the fourth annual Asia University Rankings, Times Higher Education's ranking of the top 200 universities in Asia.

July 10 One-Year Program Class Reunion (1987-1988)
Watch Billy Crystal's poignant tribute to his friend, Muhammad Ali. Crystal reflected on their time together at the 1999 Scopus Award Gala in support of Hebrew University. Ali served as the honorary chairman for this event, which honored Crystal.
The President of the State of Israel, Reuven (Ruvi) Rivlin, received an Honorary Doctorate and delivered a keynote address at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s annual Convocation in May.
Student Spotlight: Nitzan Amitay Nitzan is from Haifa and is currently a first-year student in Hebrew University’s prestigious PPE Program, which combines studies in philosophy, political science and economics.
