We met with Maxim last week and had a good conversation. I think he is excited to come here. He is starting here next week.

He asked me whether it was a compensated role. As his hire is a favor to someone who I owe 100 favors to, please just guide me as to how I should handle that. We did not compensate our summer intern but more than happy to pay him or do whatever you think is appropriate. Any thoughts appreciated.
