Still at hospital. When preparing to leave around 8pm (after spending 6 hours in recovery) Lisa's Neck began to swell to the size of a tennis ball. It appears that a blood vessel popped and was almost rushed back into the operating room to drain blood. We were told to stay the night in a recovery room closer to the OR in case emergency surgery was needed. Swelling slowing going down and hope to leave in the am.... another wonderful hospital experience...

any progress

Waiting for surgeon to visit which should be around 9am. I left for an hour to get my kids off to school. Hoping to be home late morning or early afternoon. Swelling drained about 50-60 percent now just very black and blue.
