I want to accompany Carter in his delegation visiting Cuba next month. My friend who is very involved in the trip suggested that I might want to have Clinton call Carter on my behalf to get me an invitation. As you know, I am very interested in the entire Cuba issue and feel that this is going to be a very valuable trip. Also, if all goes well, I imagine that "we" will all be doing a similar one hopefully soon... I was hopefully planning to also sponsor a local film crew so that I could video tape the entire trip for a variety of purposes, documentary etc...

Please ask him if he would feel comfortable making this call for me. Call me.
