Just wanted to tell you what a great book you wrote w/Carole. I know that w/out you, your encouragement, and friendship, the book would not have been published, and you would not be looking at a best seller. So, congratulations to you too. I loved it, as I hope you know, and was moved by it.

thanks!! you are so sweet! next time you guys surprise someone you should land in sherwood ... they won't know what hit them ... I'd write more and be funny and witty and really show you my stuff but we have to go to this bbq at the nipps down the road (i made pasta salad!) ... julie, the wife, drinks wine coolers and wants to sleep with my husband and steve has had food poisoning for a month and it's all they talk about ... but they pick the kids up from school so i have to suck up ...

tell carole we have to march all in a parade right past sidewalk blocker to get there!! if you don't hear from me in 24 hours ... send whatever's left of the national guard ...
