The earliest flight available on Wednesday morning would be the best and I could fly back on an evening flight Thursday or Friday.

There is a 6am flight on JetBlue tomorrow from JFK to San Juan, then a Cape Air flight at 11:55am arriving St. Thomas at 12:30pm. Jeffrey said you could fly back on Thursday night. There is an American flight leaving St. Thomas at 7:50pm, through San Juan, leaving SJ at 9:15pm, arriving JFK at 12am. I think if you were to leave on Thursday, that makes the most sense to maximize your time here for the day. Does that all sound OK to you?
