I finally got an email this morning =aying the panels are ready. They want payment before =hey let them go and I wired money today. (The last =ot still haven't been paid for by the German buyer). =hey should be taken into Wewak next week and my =arpenter can then make the plywood crates for them. My =stimate would be 3 - 4 weeks from now. Sorry =t has taken so long. Communication is difficult.

Are you having the panels shipped to you first, =hen you will ship them to me? Or what's the best way to =o about this? Ultimately I need them to end up in St.Thomas, =SVI. We do have a freight forwarding company we use out =f Florida to have things shipped from the mainland, =ropical Shipping if you are having them shipped first to you =n California. Just trying to figure out all the =ogistics. Also, when will you need final payment from me? Thanks..

I can get the panels shipped directly to =lorida. They will have to clear customs. The =anels haven't made it into Wewak yet and my carpenter is =tanding by to build plywood crates... Will let you know as I do.

The boards are now at my house I now have =o have my brother photograph them and send the pictures to the PNG =useum to get a permit to export. That will take a week or two with sufficient nagging. Then they can leave the country. = will keep you updated.

The boards have been photographed and the photographs sent to =he National Museum for an export permit. The crates are being =ade. My brother had to get some treated wood from Lae by ship as the US =s very tough on crates these days.

The Telekom transmitter that connects our town (Wewak) with the =est of the country has been out. The cell phone system is working intermittently but cannot access internet. My brother is going =o go up to a hotel which has a satellite system tonight to send the pictures =very expensive). The town is down to one power generator and certain =arts of the town get power at different times, not predictable times either =nd both power and Telekom are needed to send pictures.

The crates are =ade. I have to get export permits from the National Museum and I need the =ictures to get to the Museum so they can issue the permits.

I am sorry but this is a very third world. Please apologize =o your client. I hope to have pictures to show you within 24 =ours.
