Fwd: Cable Routes
Michael,
Just to confirm, we have received all the information. We forwarded some of it to the folks at Center Marine and our in-house electrical folks have looked at it. The next step for us is to come down and take a look as you suggested. I'm getting our schedules together now and will be back to you shortly to work out timing that is good for you.
Thanks again for sending.

Hi . How does this Monday, June 3rd work? We would travel down on Sunday giving us all day Monday and Tuesday morning, returning to Miami on Tuesday afternoon.
It will be myself and one of our electrical engineers as we need to review existing facilities at the site(s). This should be enough time.
Let me know and I will book travel arrangements.

Good morning Paul. Jeffrey says a trip from this Sunday to Tuesday works! Please do proceed with travel arrangements and let me know the details. We will be sure to have you picked up by Jeffrey's staff, etc. thanks
High guys, update:
Nico Shaner and I will be arriving Sunday, June 2, AA Flight 1391 2:57PM
We depart Tuesday, June 4, AA Flight 943 2:41PM.
We will have a car and we'll be staying near Redhook area...waiting for hotel/condo confirmation now.
Mike, I am assuming we will come there first on Monday to get a look at the existing facilities as we talked about, discuss the recent/previous improvements, plans for both sides and thoughts on the project approach, etc. I assume you will want us to meet in Redhook on Monday morning for shuttle over but let me know if there arc different arrangements, or let me know time and place. Also, we are completely flexible on schedule and, if one day isn't enough to see and discuss everything, then we will also have time on Tuesday morning.

Look forward to meeting with you all.

HI Paul...hope your trip was successful...wanted to follow up and see if you had your thoughts on the project to provide to Mike? Lesley
Thank you yes the trip was very successful and clarified the project for us. We were able to meet with Michael and tour both islands and the facilities that were recently added. We also discussed the project goals for Michael which allowed us to narrow our scope of services from our earlier discussions about various cable routes, etc. Additionally, we have examined 18 months of previous electrical usage to assist us in confirming loads and capacity for the LSJ consumption. Michael also provided with information regarding the seawater RO plant and distribution pumping system for purposes of developing and scope for providing a water line over to GSJ.
We are currently preparing two separate scopes/proposals. One for engineering of an electrical power loop around GSJ, to be installed by Owner's contract forces and one for project management and/or turnkey installation of the short run of submarine cable and water line from LSJ to GSJ including landslide power equipment and facilities on each side.
We are currently conducting some preliminary engineering activities in order to develop the scope and cost for each proposal and time frame for the work. We expect to have a proposal for the first scope of services (GSJ Electrical Loop engineering)to Michael for review on Monday, June 17th. The second proposal should come a few days after that as we are awaiting equipment delivery times and input from installation forces to complete the scope.
We also continue to speak with Michael as questions come up and we are speaking with Bioimpact as well to coordinate on the subaqueous permitting side of the crossing.
Thank you for assisting in setting up the visit and having us over.
Best regards,
