Dear Lesley,

HOU will accept for processing, however, since the visa was issued in NYC they will need to await for the NYC confirmation whether HOU could transfer the visa and, if positive, how long NYC will take to authorize it. Initially, the HOU consulate requested one new photo (different from the one on the 2018 visa), old cancelled passport, new passport, completed and signed application form (GB can create it — concierge fee would apply) and visa transfer fee $74. Additional documents may apply once submitted. Current fastest processing time 8 business days in HOU — the waiting time for authorization may add.

I did not hear back from the consulate in NYC so far.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you,

Inna Baranova

I have requested my colleagues in NYC to inquire too and we are still waiting on the consulate's response. I hope to have it by tomorrow, however, if they advise that they need to wait for the consul to return, we may not hear back until Friday.

HI Inna. Jeffrey has a second passport but needs to get a new one due to his status as registered sex offender. We will need to obtain this second valid passport before we can then try to transfer the Russian Visa. We will work with your Miami office again in securing this second valid passport, then come back to you! Just keeping you in the loop. I believe we will need to give you the valid 10 year passport to attach/transfer the Russian Visa to...as well as the below items.

Understood, thank you Lesley!

Since the application form is required and if you would like G3 to prepare the online application form, would you like to start working on the questionnaire? I attach the instructions and G3 processing fees for you review.

For the visa fee you can just indicate the fee as below on mult entry and write 'visa transfer' as service on the order form.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you,

Hi Inna...I've been thinking, since we need to go through the same paperwork to transfer this visa as we would need to do for a new visa...perhaps it is better to just request a brand new visa so it will be good for longer (4 full years instead of expiring in 2021). I don't know if there is a reason Jeffrey wishes to transfer the visa, but if not, what do you think? Better to get a new visa or transfer the one he has?

Dear Lesley,

For the new visa you will need to obtain a new invitation, thus, it will require additional paperwork and reaching out to people in Russia plus the visa fee is higher – 198 versus 74. Thank you,

Hi Inna. I now have Jeffrey's 4 year passport. We need to renew the 4 year passport and transfer the Russian Visa to the new 4 year passport. Can you advise if I can send all this to you to have done? As a reminder, the 4 year passport was revoked due to Jeffrey's status of a sex offender. So I am not sure if the is a renewal or a brand new passport we need to apply for.

Lesley

Dear Lesley,
I will need to refer to my colleague, Danny – G3 passport coordinator – on this passport related issue / renewal.
I will request Danny to get in touch with you for details.
Thank you,

Yes, if you would like to transfer the visa into the 4 year passport,

going the passport will be the first step.
Yes — Danny is in Miami.
Shall I ask him to get in touch with you?

Thank you

ok, thank you...we have worked with Mohammed before as well.!

I have him in my contacts. Good to know he is still here.

I have the 4 year passport in New York with me...can you recommend someone in the NY office? I've spoken with Danny who is excellent, but I think Jeffrey wants this one done in NY...

Lesley, when the 4-year was revoked — did Mr Epstein receive any letter from the US department of state at the time? Thank you,

I would think so...let me ask his attorney. We had Jeffrey's 10 year passport renewed recently in Miami (and it had been revoked as well) Jeffrey went to the main passport agency in Miami and had it turned around in 1 day.

Dear Lesley,

We have verified with the passport agency, and they stated that Mr. Epstein will need to appear in person to apply for the second valid passport.

Thus, unfortunately, we will not able to assist with the passport renewal. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Ok, I was thinking this could be the case. Can you give me the phone number of the Passport Agency in New York? I know you have to make appointments... Greatly appreciate your help...once we get the 2nd passport done, we will revisit the Russian Visa.

Dear Lesley,

Here the link — they have general 800 number but in my experience it works well and they pick up quickly: (877) 487-2778 https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/where-to-apply/passport-agencies/new-york.html

I suggest trying to get the live person on line to ensure that you have the full list of all documents that may be requested upon submission Thank you,
