The carpet needs get replace at some point soon, I'll recommend to install vinyl flooring.

The most popular type of resilient flooring, vinyl is durable, low maintenance, and easy on the budget. Vinyl floor has more depth and texture today than it did a generation ago, so it can look just like hardwood.

I know we have a lot of extra carpet in the basement closet (wall where the most of the football players are) I'm happy to leave NO carpet in the closet where the vacuum canister is...but vinyl flooring for the whole basement 9t I don't think I can do it! Do you install carpeting? Could you see if we have enough in the closet to patch in ? or would that look horrible?

Yes we do carpet too, but is to wet to do anything now!

ugh. I'll bet...ok...we will cross that brige once it is dried out.

So far the water leak problem is been fixed, you won't have that problem anymore.

GREAT! we have water coming in through that window well also in the basement at the front of the house...will that stop as well? I would still like to get the cracks sealed and window well covers installed...
