Thank you for your reply. I will find out what kind of car details(make/model/year). My boss has permanent residency in the USVI (Virgin Islands) but the car would be sent from either NY city or Palm Beach, FL where he also has a residences. He has lived in NY all his life. He owns a house in Paris, France. will get back to you soon.

My boss is mostly concerned about the registering of his vehicle. I have been looking and from what I understand, you are supposed to register your car right away but have up to 3 months to do so? is this correct? Is this something you do or we do? Is there a certain time period you must register the car for? I'm not so concerned about actually getting the car to Paris...I know it can be done. It is after it arrives Paris I need to know about. Can you clear this up for me?

if you arc not planning on using the car in France, you do not need to register the car. If your boss is moving to France, he can only drive for 2 weeks with the license plates. Afterward, he needs to register it. Mother option might be issuing a Carnet. If he gets a Carnet, he can stay up to one year with the car in the EU and use his American registration, afterward he needs to ship it back to the US.
I would recommend you to introduce me directly to your boss, so I can explain him this. It is a tricky subject...

Due to the fact that we never worked with you guys before, we can not file the Carnet for you and that is something that you would need to do yourself.
Just call the number on their website and they will guide you through the process, you will need to fill out a few documents and then it will be ready to go. Please see their website below:
