Just a note that I won't be able to stop by Martin's Institute to see Jeffrey today (in your email you said that he was going to be there on Wednesday, so I showed up yesterday but didn't find him!). However, I will be at the dinner this evening.

oh n0000! I am so very sorry about this! He Was to go on WEd. and then it changed to Thursday! I see my email to you re the change but it got hung up in `unsent box'! What a shame I wasted your time yesterday-truly apologize...is it possible you could go sometime during the day today while Jeffrey is around? I"m Very happy you can attend the dinner...!

No problem: in fact there is nothing better for me than to have a few hours unexpectedly free!

My day is pretty packed but I could try to get over to Martin's institute around 5 before the dinner at 6:30 (which I will be attending). Do you happen to know whether Jeffrey will still be there then?
