Re: Restaurants
Hey Jena,..I was just about to text you...sounds like you have been honest with yourself and with Gooch. That is good. I know you have been feeling this way for awhile now. I didn't realize it was for his birthday! I also didn't know 2 other couples are coming (who are they? his friends? or yours? if yours, do I know them?)
But the reason I was about to contact you is because an apartment does not look good unfortunately. I rec'd an email this morning asking if we have an apt for a girl Jeffrey wants to stay here for the next 10 days! Such a drag...I wanted to stay in an apt with Ike tomorrow night also and that is not going to happen either. I'm so sorry, but 1 think you better gear up for that hotel.
I hope you are doing ok Jena. You deserve to be happy :) I know this is a tough time period for you. You want Gooch to work but it is not a long term relationship in the making...
XO
omg, totally. That was very sweet ofhim and a very nice surprise I'm sure for all of you. I will look at fb
I'm glad Gooch is paying for the hotel room...makes me feel better.
So get back to me on who else is celebrating his bday. Maybe on the monday 12th I meet just you for a drink and let you move on to dinner with everyone else? I don't want to impose and may be easier for me also since I will need to get on home (I was hoping ifyou guys had an apt I could maybe sleep on the sofa you know!)
I am now back with a ticket to nyc in my stupid ass hand. I told him to have no expectations of a future as I am fully confused and trying to work thru my unhappin He and I always have FUN, therefore, nyc will be FUN. But it's depth and value am meaningful moments that I need to sustain a healthy relationship. I have FUN maid.' sandwich by myself. Don't need a man for that, especially one who recently I have allowed to bring my spirits DOWN.
So, we will do NYC this weekend for his birthday with two other couples and tear t city up at Christmastime and enjoy all its magic. When we return to reality, I'll deal it. I was uber honest in telling him it was an extremely high risk situation for him. I no longer going to tolerate any of his BS, and I'm on the road to getting my light an happy back. I fear I sound like Pam Brewer at the moment and excuse me while I q throw up in my mouth on that one.
2012 is going to be a big year of important changes and growth for your crazy as ba friend Jena.
Namaste, bitches.
WE reserved a room at the Westin so we are fine. I'm making him pay for EVERYTHING so whatever! lot I love the apartment because I love the space and it makes me feel closer to you and sort oflike a movie star to have my own apt in the city, but no prob. And thank you, Lesley, for even trying. I love you. Gooch paid for the eight ofus girls (see FAcebook) to have dinner last night surprising us when the check was all paid up. Reminded me ofROB MALLIN.

omg this email cracks me up...hell, if I can sleep in your bedroom and watch...and the other guests are heavy drinkers I am in ;)
- I am drawing a blank on the name of that restaurant...will get it in a minute. saturday night is hard cause a lot of the places I like normally during week, become bridge/tunnel on weekend. I think you are safe with meatpacking district however...Buddakan is very cool, hip and great food. It used to be an old Keebler cookie factory so it is gigantic. The elves have moved out.
Lavo is the Italian place right across the street from Tao. I think you should definitely have that on the list. I'd like to see that place. I talk to Mark PAcker on the phone all the time (JE"s friend and owns the place) don't think I can hit him up for a ressi though. If you want to go to a Steve Hanson restaurant I could help with that...just go to B.R. Guest web site.
:) hehehe
oh cool! will be great I'm sure.
the Highline restaurant is no longer in business...guess that is why I have not been there in a long time.
My recommendations are:
Buddakan: www.buddakannyc.com I have taken out of town guests here before and they love it.
Dos Caminos: meatpacking district. Great mexican (but yall get that all the time) www.brgucst.com
Bills Bar & Burger for MAJOR cheap eats and more pub type atmosphere. Very good and in meatpacking district so you can walk around to all the other places around there (Standard Hotel has their ice skating rink goin on ...standard in meatpacking/highline district) www, brguestcom
Raoul's: Soho...great steak au povre. smaller, more intimate mainstay ny restaurant...you may have even been here. close to the Mercer Hotel (we ate dinner there w/Gordon...remember?...Mercer Hotel that is...) ‘‘‘‘ ',JOUR coin

Blue Water Grill is always decorated nicely this time of year...Union Square. you have been a thousand times including with me!
I have never been to Wolfgangs...ike has and said it was extremely noisy.
there is that restaurant we went to together when you came with Pam...name is escaping me right now...
YOu're awesome, ██████
Abe and Arthurs with Pam, but remember how dead it was??? :(
I can't get ressi at Buddakan! :( Waaah! Maybe just drinks then at the big bar. Anju any good? I think I went there with Marcy and Teresa? Standard Hotel? I'm so confused.
Yeah, love the Mexican but Texas rocks it better than anyone, so they wouldn't want that when we have Javier's here in Dallas.
Checking on Raouls now I do remember! I love Union Square, such chardonnary memories with you. Would be a great Sunday brunch spot.
