just checking in -- how was your weekend? mine was good
P and I actually went to a spontaneous movie on Sat. night -- saw ARGO -- it was great! very good movie
C had cheerleading last night at the FLHS stadium -- it was freezing! and we didn't get home until a little past 9 pm (my bedtime!)
how is Ty's bronchitis and ears?
B has a cold now. .. he sounds terrible
Are you hosting Thanksigivng at your house?

had a great weekend. I am also starting to feel a tinge under the weather...sucks...headache and a slightly sore throat. Ty has not complained at all about his ears or cough! He is almost done with his medicine and will for sure take him again to make sure the illnesses are gone (since he can't really tell me!) Sony to hear Braden is terrible!
We are hosting thanksgiving and I did some preliminary shopping this weekend. Will work from home on WEd. and get turkey and veggies...Ike's parents and sister's family are all coming. Will be good...but I wish y'all would be there. Started prepping the dining room last night.
I want to see ARgo...looks good. it's playing in our town. I will probably take Ty to see Wreckit Ralph this Friday since we both have off.
did some looking at houses in Greenwich yesterday to look at stone, roofs and windows. Ty was not real thrilled about it! Our lot is completely empty now. We went by yesterday.
I have a shin splint that hurts so bad it is hard to walk. I am going to have to take a break from running. sucks
How much will it cost to get your car fixed? Did you check a couple of places? If it's not too much I'm sure we would rather not go thru insurance.

WOW! I can't believe the whole house is demo'd from the property! That is exciting! When will they start to build? sorry to know you don't feel that great -- it does suck. . . Braden's cough is def. getting worse -- I can hear him at night trying to fall asleep and coughing coughing coughing!
It would be nice to be at your house for Thanksgiving -- but fortunately, I do like the family members that we arc going to see -- and I like the barn we have dinner in -- very rustic and pretty with the white christmas lights wrapped around the exposed beams. I'm making apple pie, whiskey cake and green bean caserole
I have to work 1/2 day Wednesday and (presumably) all day on Friday. Friday is going to be so dead. . . we'll see how it shakes out.

I received 3 "formal" quotes and one from a company that the guys just came out and verbally provided.
Quotes range from $801.00 (new parts only) $1600.00 (new door) $2600.00 (new door)
- I am truly not as concerned about the cosmetic damage as I am that the door doesn't close properly now. Air gets in (cold) and I can hear the road (weird). middle quote also said he may be able to fix it without having to get a new door. However, his next sentence was, but the proper way to fix it is to order a new door...
I need to see how long it will take also - very diff to be without a vehicle! =--- all a bummer --

- no parking sign for that spot. I told mans to never park there again also. Your pies sound good. i am making the chocolate pudding pie that grandmother used to make for us...i think the kids will love it.
I am happy i do not have to work on Friday! Ike has to as well.
- We are in the midst of ordering our foundation...once the foundation is ordered and we know it is due in in about a week, we will stars digging the hole...i would put it at 3 weeks from now.
