Bob, I am going to answer you on all this stuff...Ty was in the Variety Show last night and I was knee deep in helping out...I want to do this right...I like stellas...but I definitely don't want rose bushes and I like Endless Summer hydrangea..the blues ...pinks are nice too...the ones Anna chose are white...I want to be particular..I don't like the yellow stuff you suggested..I had that at this house and made them pull it out a few years laters...I am going to take pictures of the ground cover I like today...my next door neighbor has it here and it stays green all year it seems...I agree we need to keep simple for now. Screening the back yard for sure. Other stuff can wait...i am particular on trees. Don't like japanese maple...2 feature trees is enough for me now ...I am going to doctor and will get more out to you later...
You don't like Japanese maples!! The Hydrangea we can get in blue and pink. That loses its leaves in the winter. Ivy takes a while to get going but it will look good with your house. We just got to get a definitive for the ground cover. There would be a nice variation in color if you used barbery and ivy.
I love vinca vein. It's lighter green with white tips.
Ok can do. It will die in the winter.
ok...but then come back again in the spring right?...
I don't think vinca vine comes back. I had some survive the winter once. That dark green Ivy that lives throughout the year is the way to go
ok, i do not want something that will not come back. I like ivy...but we need something white tipped or lighter green also maybe?
I think it is English ivy that is evergreen. They may have some with a white tip but I think the traditional all green would be nicer. The ivy and the hydrangea give the outside a classic look.
You know you are starting a trend that is long overdue. Spitting the outside of the house and the inside. Classic outside and trendy clean lines inside. Better homes and gardens.
