Fwd: Telephone Call
Dear Jeffrey
I tried to call you today to discuss the Duchess of York situation but I understand you are not in the office currently. Let me know when a good time to speak tomorrow would be.
Best regards
James
340 775 2525 now is fine
Dear Jeffrey
It was good to talk to you earlier this week and as I said I completely understand your concerns and frustrations as does the Duchess. We discussed a number of ways of trying to rectify this situation including:
Public comment by the Duchess in forthcoming US TV interviews
A statement from her
A letter from her
In reviewing these options there is a concern that any comment "live" and "on air" might generate more negative than positive for you, in terms of follow on questions, therefore a letter of clarification — as suggested by you — would be more appropriate. This could be done personally or through lawyers.
To this end could you be kind and let me know the exact wording that you would like to see in a letter and I can then put this to the Duchess and hopefully we can resolve the matter soonest.
Best regards
James
I think we need both, a letter,. a statement that she can repeat when asked. a court document that she can point to ,
