To JEE - Thanks, with apologies

Jeffrey - Thanks for taking the time to call me - I hope you don't think I was too presumptuous - I thought I should at least ask for your support before moving on buying that practice. Thanks for thinking of me in Cambridge. I'd be happy to fly out next time you get together with Martin and the gang. I'm most happy to hear you're back in high society brilliantly.

I'm attaching my CV in the hope you might think I wouldn't be a superfluous "investment"/charity like those you referred to in our conversation. Also, The Institute for Music & Brain Science is a 49426)3 private operating foundation, not a 501(c)3: 49426)3's can fund their own research projects. We'd use some of the initial funds for a perception and ERP lab, so not all (of the initial) would go to salary and, as usual, I would have a small army of students staffing The Institute, a la the attached picture a sent you with a thank you note back in December. (There's already a number from my class asking to do some projects with me.) The salary would free me up to write some grants - e.g., my new pal at Universal Music has offered to send Britney Spears the Neonatal ICU project I sent the Florida Science Foundation in '09 since he is her publisher, but time has been prohibiting me from pursuing it.
